For over a year I have been going to the Norris bar. I have enjoyed the company every time I have been in with the male owner. I for over a year have defended the bar when I heard horror stories about the owners wife, I had never had the horror story experience with the wife until tonight. The woman was out right rude to the whole group of 6 people we were with. Not only did she make rude comments she also passed judgement on at lest 2 of the people we were with, never once have i judged the place by the horror stories i have heard so i bring in a group of people to have food and a few drinks.. I am unsure who the owner thought she was to treat customers the way she had and to pass judgement. There were 8 people in the bar 7 in which the owners wife had run out in 20 minutes, never could I recommend someone to stop in for a burger or beer again after being treated with such disrespect. As a bar owner/tender your job is to serve food and beverages to the customers with a smile on your face and a good attitude. Never is it your job to pass judgement or treat people poorly because of what you think you know or what you have heard, never is it your job to gossip of spread rumors or talk about patrons and what they do while having a few, your job is simply to serve the customer. It makes me sad to say I will never be a customer in the establishment again as it was a regular stopping place for us when we traveled through each week, it saddens me that i stuck up so many times for the establishment to have the same treatment they had all talked about acted upon on the people I was with. Never has the male owner ever treated my group the way his wife did it is very unfortunate. After reading the previous review I absolutely could not agree more with this gentlemen!
Hands down the worst watering hole in Madison County, if not the whole state of Montana. The owner of this establishment is by far the most hateful and miserable woman I've ever encountered in all my sixty years on this earth! Few people pride themselves in being this despicable... and this individual excells in hatred - not just by completely disrespecting and belittling her customers, but by alienating the entire community. Every time I drive by this place, I pray to the lord above that it goes out of business, and closes down, and gets sold off to ANYONE! Because anyone, and I do mean anyone, could run the Norris Bar better, and with more courtesy than the present owner. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU EVER STOP AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! If you need a drink, go across the street to the very friendly gas station and buy beer there, or run up the road half a mile to Norris Hot Springs and have them pour you some tasty wine or craft beer. You'll thank yourself later for patronizing good local businesses, and avoiding pure evil! Good luck!
